How Zenko analyzes EA FC

EA FC match data reaches Zenko through Virtualeagues, the competitive league platform where these matches are played and recorded. This page explains what Zenko reads, how challenges settle per match, and how difficulty calibrates to your own results.

What we read from Virtualeagues

Zenko reads your EA FC profile and match results from the Virtualeagues platform using its documented, read-only endpoints, after you link your Virtualeagues account:

  • Player profile to link your Virtualeagues identity to your Zenko account.
  • Match results to fetch detailed per-match stats: goals, assists, shots, pass accuracy, tackles, saves, clean sheet, cards, the match rating, man of the match, and the win or loss.

We use documented endpoints only and read public match data tied to your linked Virtualeagues account. Zenko never makes changes to your account or sends commands, and does not read your EA or Electronic Arts account directly.

How challenges settle

Each EA FC challenge settles per match, the same model used for our other titles. When you accept a challenge, Zenko records the target (for example, "score 2+ goals" or "keep a clean sheet"). As you play qualifying Virtualeagues matches, Zenko checks the recorded result to see whether the match counts toward the challenge window and whether you met the target.

Settlement works the same three ways as our other games: auto-settle at the 12-hour mark using the matches you played in the window, an optional refresh to see updated progress mid-session (rate-limited), or manual settlement once you are done.

Zenko does not poll Virtualeagues in the background. Match checks happen only when you accept a challenge, refresh, or the 12-hour timer ticks, which keeps Zenko a respectful client of the platform and avoids opaque background traffic on your account.

Per-match targets

EA FC targets are built from the per-match stats the platform reports, such as:

  • Scoring and playmaking. Goals, assists, and shots in a match.
  • Defending and goalkeeping. Tackles, saves, and clean sheets.
  • Match outcome and rating. Win, match rating, and man of the match.

Targets are paired with light anti-exploit floors (for example, a minimum match rating so an abandoned match does not count) so a challenge reflects real play. If a card does not suit you, reroll it.

How difficulty adapts to your performance

Targets re-tune to your recent EA FC performance history. If you average a goal a game, a scoring challenge stretches to roughly above your mean. A hot streak stretches it further, a cold streak relaxes it.

This is personal calibration, not an alternate ranking system. Zenko does not publish a public leaderboard and does not re-rank any ladder. The performance signal on your profile reflects how your play compares within the Zenko player cohort, derived from your own match history. It is not a skill rating, an MMR or ELO estimate, or a ranking of all EA FC players.

Your data and control

What we store: your Virtualeagues account link, match result snapshots (for settlement), and aggregated analysis metrics (average goals, assists, win rate). All of this is derived from match data the platform reports.

What we do not store: passwords, or any data from your EA or Electronic Arts account beyond what the linked Virtualeagues account returns.

On unbind: if you disconnect your Virtualeagues account from Zenko, we delete your stored analysis, match cache, and snapshots for that account. Only the account link record itself is soft-deleted for audit purposes.
